About GuardUp

Made in the UK

GuardUp is the custom sports mouthguard range of materials manufactured by Acorn Polymers (UK) Ltd, that dentists and dental lab technicians use to manufacture your mouthguard. Our products are manufactured here in the UK.

A custom-made guard fits better, stays in place and lets you breathe and talk more easily than a boil-and-bite guard, because it is made from an impression of your own teeth.

Questions

FAQ

Can I buy a mouthguard directly from you?

No. GuardUp guards are custom-made from an impression of your teeth, so they are ordered through your dentist or dental laboratory. We supply the materials to them.

How do I send my design to my dentist?

In the designer, add your name and press Save Design. A PDF technical drawing downloads to your device. Attach it to an email to your dentist or dental technician, or print it and take it to your appointment.

Will my guard look exactly like the 3D preview?

Very close. The designer forms the pattern the way the real sheet stretches, but every mouth is a different shape, so the exact outcome varies. Marbles are swirled by hand, so each one is unique.

Can I add my club badge or name?

Yes. Choose construction 03 or 05 and upload your artwork. If the artwork belongs to someone else (a club crest, for example) you will need their permission before it can be printed.

Does the designer work on my phone?

Yes, on any recent phone, tablet or computer. A larger screen makes it easier to position a motif.
